Woodlots BC Levy Referendum Online Voting Package

Woodlots BC Levy Referendum

In 1998 the Woodlot Product Development Council was formed. Through its establishment a $0.25 levy was created to promote the interests of woodlot licensees in BC. The levy is part of the annual rent paid by woodlot licensees. We want to ensure our resources align with your actual needs on the ground.

Why does your vote matter today?

The woodlot levy has not changed in 25 years and Woodlots BC is seeking direction from its membership – you, the woodlot licensee. We are asking these vital questions at an important point in our history. As we look towards our future, the levy needs to be addressed and we want your vote.

Eligible Voters

Individuals, partnerships, corporations or other legal entities which are holders of a Crown Woodlot Licence in the Province of British Columbia are voting members of Woodlots BC. Each woodlot licence affords its holder one membership and one vote. In cases where an individual holds more than one licence, or the licence is not held by one individual, the licence holder may appoint only one person at one time to represent the woodlot. For voting purposes, an individual can only represent one licence at any time.
