The Federation of BC Woodlot Associations’ 28th and Woodlot Product Development Council’s 18th Conference & AGM were held October 2 – 4, 2015 in West Kelowna, heart of BC’s wine country.
The theme was Wine, Woodlots and Wanderings withtours to Gorman Brothers Lumber Mill, Westbank First Nations Community Forest fuel mitigation project in the urban interface, Silver Lake woodlot licence and camp, wineries and house boat on the Okanagan Lake. It was co-hosted by the Boundary and Shuswap Okanagan Woodlot Associations.
A variety of specialists provided topical information on BC’s forests.
